Every month we will host two 12 day passages to both the Canary Islands and Madeira. The destinations and the natural phenomena encountered en route, combined with the hither to unavailable luxury of passage making on a brand new 50 ft yacht with superb facilities, makes this attractive to all those who would have been previously put off from sailing. Our new vessel is fully equipped to provide safe, quality training, at a level of comfort not previously available. Two of our double cabins have en suite, and with both aircon and a constant ‘mains’ electricity supply, there is no longer an element of roughing it! Couples welcome. These adventures are open to everyone. The Canaries adventure is suitable for those of you wanting to experience the Bare Foot Navigator style of seamanship – we find our way by the stars, planets and other celestial bodies on a non stop voyage to Lanzarote. You will be part of a watch system, and looked after by one of our experienced Yachtmaster Ocean skippers. The Madeira Adventure cruises the coast of Southern Spain and Portugal, before setting off in to the Atlantic Ocean, for the 36 hour non stop sail to Madeira. With several 24 hour stop overs en route to sample the local culture, as well as the excitement of beautiful coastal passages in between, this is an ideal mix for those new to sailing.
